Mynk launches an MCP server for Norwegian B2B company search

Mynk has launched a remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) server at https://api.mynk.no/mcp, giving AI tools like Claude live access to Norway's company and decision-maker database. Instead of switching to a separate app, a Pro-plan user can now search Norwegian companies, pull full company profiles, find decision makers, and reveal verified contact details directly inside a chat session with Claude.

What is MCP?

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard for connecting AI models to external tools and data sources. Instead of a model only knowing what was in its training data, an MCP server exposes live, callable tools the model can use mid-conversation — in Mynk's case, real-time search over Norwegian company and people data.

What you can do with it

The server exposes eight tools: fast natural-language company search, an exhaustive deep-search mode for full market coverage, full company profiles (registry data plus AI-enriched fields like who a company serves and what they sell), employee and decision-maker lookups, people search across all Norwegian companies, and credit-gated contact reveal for verified work email and phone numbers.

How to get access

MCP access is included on the Pro plan (see pricing). Once you're on Pro, connecting takes two steps: create an API key from the Mynk dashboard (or use OAuth directly if you're connecting from claude.ai's custom connector flow, which needs no key at all), then add the server URL in your MCP client of choice — claude.ai, Claude Code, Cursor, or VS Code all work.
